Professional Services Available

We offer a wide and comprehensive range of services for our patients:

NHS eye tests to all who qualify (colour digital photographs of retina at no extra charge).

Private eye test £24.50 (colour digital photographs of the retina at no extra charge).

WECE and PEARS examinations at no cost available to all patients living in Wales (see link at Www.eyecare.wales.nhs.uk for further details).

Contact lens fitting. We fit an extensive range of contact lenses including daily contact lenses from £22 and monthly lenses from £11.50 per month.

cl insertion

Home visits are available for those patients who are house bound and unable to get to us. These are covered by the NHS for any patients over 60, or claiming the correct exemptions.

DVLA driving standard tests.

Free low vision service to help those with visual impairments. This scheme allows us to assess a patients needs and we are able to loan magnifiers and low vision aids to those who need it.

Glaucoma screening is available to anyone with a direct history of glaucoma in the family.
